Our story begins in 1998 in the breathtaking Todra Gorges of Morocco, where a few resilient women started selling handmade carpets directly to travelers. These carpets were more than just products—they were woven with stories, traditions, and generations of craftsmanship.
For years, they carried their beautiful creations to the roadside, sharing not just carpets but also the rich culture and heritage of Berber weaving techniques passed down through generations of mothers and daughters.
Each knot, each color, each pattern tells a story from the Atlas Mountains—stories of family, community, and ancient wisdom that we're honored to share with the world.
In 2010, we transformed from roadside sellers into a startup with a vision: to bring these authentic Moroccan carpets to a global audience while preserving the traditional craftsmanship and supporting the women artisans who create them.
When the world changed in 2020 with the pandemic, we faced a challenge: how could we continue sharing our beautiful carpets when travel stopped?
That's when we embraced e-commerce. We realized that even though people couldn't come to the Todra Gorges, the Todra Gorges could come to them—through our carpets, shipped anywhere our customers exist.
Every carpet is 100% authentic, made using traditional Berber techniques passed down through generations.
We provide fair wages and stable income for women artisans, empowering them to support their families.
Using natural dyes and locally-sourced wool, our process respects both people and the environment.
Each knot is tied with care and attention to detail, ensuring carpets that last for generations.
Every pattern and color tells a story from our Berber heritage that we share with the world.
We are a family of artisans working together to preserve our cultural heritage and share it globally.
Every carpet you purchase directly supports the women of the Todra Gorges region. We work directly with artisans, ensuring fair wages and preserving traditional weaving techniques that have been passed down for generations.
